Subject: US PLD availability at 1760 rpm

Clarke is proud to announce the official availability dates for the Pressure Limiting Driver models rated at 1760 RPM, which can now be used for installations in the United States and the United States Territories. Clarke will now be making the PLD (-D, -S, -DS) available from 109 to 324 bhp @ 1760 rpm.

On 19 Jan 2021, 1760 rpm will be available for the following models:

ON 2 Feb 2021, 1760 rpm will be available for the following models:

In addition, all electronic Clarke PLD models will now include our soft start option.  This allows the engine to start up at idle, and the user to check for any running issues, prior to ramping up to full speed.

In order to allow for the new PLD availability at 1760 rpm, ALL PLD engines will have a new procedure for settings outlined in the Operation and Maintenance Manual.
